Send a print, the material and the annual quantity. You will get a real answer, or an honest no.
What we need from you
Three things get you a real answer rather than a range:
- A print or a model. A solid model is ideal. A drawing is fine. A photograph of a sample part is a workable starting point.
- The material and gauge, if you know them. If you do not, say what the part has to do and we will suggest something.
- The annual quantity. This is the one people leave out and it changes everything. The same part at 2,000 a year and 200,000 a year is two completely different tooling decisions.
What happens next
An engineer reads your print before anyone quotes it. If something on it is going to fight the tool, you will hear about it then, while it is still cheap to change. Then you get a number for tooling, a number for the part, and a lead time.
If we are the wrong shop for your job, we will tell you that too. It happens, and it is better for both of us than finding out at tryout.
