About Frontier Metal Stamping
A Colorado stamping shop that builds its own tools, in Frederick since 2001.
Frontier Metal Stamping has been making stamped and fabricated metal parts for over 40 years. We started in Denver and have been in Frederick since 2001, when the current 25,200 square foot building went up.
The thing worth knowing about us before anything else: we build our own tooling. Die design and die build happen in our own tool room, forty feet from the presses that will run the tool. That single fact shapes everything else — how fast a problem gets fixed, what we can promise about a schedule, and why we can afford to guarantee your tool for the life of the part.
Pay once, tool for life
You pay for a tool once, when the parts coming off the press are acceptable to you. Not at design, not at first article. After that, as long as the part design does not change, you never pay us for that tool again. Setups, maintenance, sharpening, storage and complete rebuilds are covered. If it wears out after four million hits, we rebuild it.
You own one hundred percent of the die set and all related tooling, and you can take it whenever you want.
Our founding principles
Frontier is the Rocky Mountain region's supplier of precision tools, prototypes and metal stampings. It was established in Denver on our family's strong Christian values and the desire to glorify and follow God in everything we do.

What we are
ISO 9001:2015 registered, covering stamping with precision tooling, machining of stamped products, welding of aluminums and steels, and assembly and finishing. A member of the National Tooling and Machining Association and the Precision Metalforming Association. A Bronze Achiever in the recycling category of Colorado's Environmental Leadership Program. We source conflict-free.
We are not AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485 registered. If your program requires one of those, we will tell you on the first call.
How to work with us
Send a print. We read it before we quote it and tell you what is going to fight the tool, which is a conversation that costs nothing and routinely saves people real money. Then we tell you what tooling your annual quantity actually justifies, rather than the tooling that suits us.

Does Frontier build its own tooling?
Yes. Progressive, multi-slide and single-hit dies are designed and built in our own tool room. Die work is not sent out.
What certifications do you hold?
ISO 9001:2015. We are members of the NTMA and PMA, and a Bronze Achiever in Colorado’s Environmental Leadership Program.
