On a consumer product the stamped part is usually the one thing the customer touches, which changes what "good enough" means.
Otterbox hinge covers for a bear-protection cooler are a fair example. The part has a real job, the hinge has to survive a bear, and it also has to look and feel like it belongs on a premium product. A burr, a witness line in the wrong place or a finish that varies between batches is a warranty conversation.
Consumer volumes also tend to be large and seasonal, which is a supply chain problem as much as a manufacturing one. We will build a stocking program around how you actually order, so parts arrive when your line needs them rather than three weeks early or two days late.

Frontier builds its own dies. You pay for the tool once, when the parts are acceptable to you, and after that you never pay us for that tool again — setups, maintenance, sharpening, storage and complete rebuilds are covered for as long as the part design does not change.

Can you hold cosmetic requirements?
Yes, and it is worth saying so on the print. Cosmetic surfaces change how a die is built and where the witness marks land, and it is much cheaper to design for that than to fix it afterwards.
Do you hold stock for seasonal demand?
Yes. We run inventory stocking programs so parts ship against your schedule rather than ours.
