Frontier Metal Stamping is registered to ISO 9001:2015 by PRI Certification, certificate 24360, valid through 24 May 2029.
What the registration covers
Stamping of metal and associated materials, machining of stamped products, welding of aluminums and steels, and assembly and finishing of stamped and machined products. It is a single-site registration covering the Frederick plant, which is the only place Frontier makes anything.
Design and development of products and services is excluded from the scope. That is normal for a contract stamper: we engineer and build tooling, and we review your design and tell you what will cause trouble, but the product design is yours.
What that means in practice
A quality system is only worth anything if it changes what happens on the floor. Ours shows up as a documented purchase order review with more than thirty check points, dimensional inspection against your print, and SPC data collected through a run rather than at the ends of it.

What we do not hold
We are not AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485 registered. If your program requires one of those we will tell you on the first call rather than three weeks into a quote.
ITAR registration
Frontier is a registered manufacturer with the U.S. State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, registrant code M28826, current through 31 May 2027.
Worth being precise about what that is, because it gets overstated: ITAR registration is a registration, not a certification, and it confers no export rights on its own. It means Frontier is on file with DDTC as a manufacturer of defense articles and keeps the records the ITAR requires. Ask and we will send the registration letter with a quote.
Getting a copy
The ISO certificate is linked at the top of this page. For the ITAR registration letter, or for anything else a supplier qualification package needs, ask and we will send it. Buyers qualifying a new supplier usually want it with the first quote, and that is a reasonable thing to want.
