Capacities

What the plant holds, what the presses cover, and how much room is left.

Racked inventory in the warehouse

A 25,200 square foot plant in Frederick, Colorado, built in 2001, with room next door to roughly double it.

  • 23,000 square feet of manufacturing floor
  • 1,800 square feet of office
  • 400 square feet of quality assurance, including a locked bonded area
  • Adjacent lot owned, which would allow the footprint to roughly double

Production range

From low production volumes into the millions. Presses from 6 to 260 tons cover single-hit prototype work at one end and high-speed coil-fed production at the other, and both ends are quoted by the same people in the same building.

Material up to .250 by 24 inches through the heaviest cradle and straightener. What actually decides whether a part fits our range is not thickness alone but thickness, perimeter and shear strength together — there is a fuller explanation on the materials page.

Capacity for your schedule, not ours

We run inventory stocking programs, so parts can be built to an efficient run size and released against your schedule. That is usually cheaper for both of us than making a short run every time you need one.

Production control

Order flow, scheduling and job costing run on E/2 production control software. Every purchase order goes through a documented review with more than thirty check points before it reaches the floor.
